Rahul lives in a tiny hamlet Shakharshet in Jawhar. The 22 year lad had never travelled out of Jawhar in his life… When we announced the Entrepreneurship program in association with the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), he approached us to explore if he could join the program.

Through out the 60 day program, Rahul participated actively in all the activities and “graduated” with flying colors. 

Today, he runs a small shop - Bharsat Tribal Art Center, where he makes souvenirs and other paraphernalia based on Warli painting for tourists visiting Jawhar.
