Criteria for Admission
We welcome all youth, women and migrant workers in the age bracket 18 to 50 years join our courses – the only criteria being willingness to learn and succeed in life.
Documents Required
We require the following documents from you –
- Proof of Identity: Driving License, Ration Card with photo, Election Card, PAN Card, Address Card with Photo issued by Department of Posts, Certificate of Photo identity issued by Village Panchayat or equivalent, Photo Identity card issued by a government recognized educational institution, Aadhaar Card - Any One
- Proof of Address: Driving License, Ration Card with photo & address, Election Card, PAN Card, Address Card with Photo issued by Department of Posts, Certificate of Address issued by Village Panchayat or equivalent, Certificate of address issued by a government recognized educational institution, Electricity Bill – not later than 3 months, Aadhaar Card, Domicile certificate, Credit card statement - Any One
- Certificate of Education: SSC / HSC Certificate, Graduation Certificate, etc - Any One or All
Fees
Our program for livelihood generation is delivered free of cost for the Self Help Groups in their respective villages. However, in order to bring about ownership and accountability, we expect the SHGs to contribute 10% of the project cost at the time of implementation (90% of the project cost is bourne by NeevJivan Foundation).
We charge a very nominal fee of INR 1,000 for the 90 day program on Basics of Tailoring. On successful completion of the course with > 90% attendance, we will return INR 500 back to you. So, in effect the course fee is just INR 500.
The curriculum for our tailoring course is based on recommendation by M/s. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and certificates given to students on successful completion of the course is from this organisation.
